Slitter
Novastilmec produces cutting-edge slitters.
The slitters are lines capable of “cutting” into modular strips and, with high precision, coils or metal strips of various thicknesses. Thin, medium and high.
In addition to the longitudinal cutting lines, Novastilmec also produces cut to lenght lines. It is a complete production line (from the cutting process into sheets till the one into strips), able to cover all customer needs.
The longitudinal cutting and slitter lines produced can process the following materials:
- steel strips with both cold and hot rolling
- galvanized
- pre-painted
- cold and hot rolled stainless steel
- aluminum
- high-strength and ultra-high-strength material
- Duplex steel
- Domex steel
All our slitter lines can be equipped with an automatic blade and separator change system for the correct sizing of the strips (bundle).
In addition, multiple solutions are used in the braking group of the flaps to ensure excellent management of the pull throughout during the whole process. The excellent cutting tolerances guarantees a high quality of the output material with consequent added value for the customer’s final product.

Based on the different types of material to process, we are able to offer lines that are more specific.
